Made-to-Order – Shipping Policy
Items that are custom made to order have an estimated production timeline of approximately 90 days. To ensure the most accurate and up-to-date shipping costs, delivery rates are calculated upon completion. Therefore, a $0 shipping charge is displayed at checkout as a placeholder.

Once the piece is ready, we will provide a final shipping quote. Alternatively, clients are welcome to arrange their own delivery or coordinate a pickup directly from our location.

We offer a variety of shipping options to suit your needs, including FedEx, USPS, UPS, DHL, common carriers, air cargo services, and independent couriers.

You may choose from our available shipping methods—including white glove delivery—or use your preferred carrier by providing your account number (UPS, FedEx, DHL, or other courier services).


Shipping Delays & External Factors

AKBIK Furniture & Design is not responsible for delays, holds, or disruptions in shipping caused by circumstances beyond our control. These may include, but are not limited to:

Geopolitical events or conflicts

Airport or port congestion

Customs inspections, holds, or clearance delays

Flight cancellations or cargo space shortages

Carrier limitations or operational disruptions

Government regulations or restrictions

Weather conditions or force majeure events

Orders affected by any of the above circumstances are not eligible for cancellation, return, or refund while in transit or on hold.


Liability

AKBIK Furniture & Design is committed to ensuring your order is properly prepared and handed over securely to the selected shipping provider. However, once the shipment has been transferred to the courier (domestic or international), responsibility is transferred to the carrier.

We cannot assume liability for:

Non-delivery

Delays in transit

Damaged packages

Broken or missing items

Customs-related issues or holds

We strongly recommend selecting insured shipping options or requesting additional coverage where available.


Lost or Undelivered Packages

In the unfortunate event of a lost or undelivered package, AKBIK Furniture & Design will not issue a refund or send replacement items until the shipping courier has officially declared the package as lost.

We will work diligently with the carrier to initiate an investigation and assist in locating your shipment.
